Rapid’s Day Boat

Rapid Houseboats are selling their day boat. It was built as a display boat so no expense has been spared with the build.

This would have to be one of the most impressively kitted out day boats on the lake to date. It was built in 2022 and commissioned onto the lake in 2023. It currently has only 11 hours of use on it!

It measures 10.2m x 4.5m. Why this size? If you desired, you could buy a Category 2 permit and assign it to this boat. It has upright supports positioned so you could build in 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. There’s space for a black water tank with access already there. The scope of the build was to accommodate for those that may want a new Category 2 houseboat or keep it as a day boat.

Adding to the big floor plan is a 2.1m duckboard and a 600mm side ski platform on both sides. It’s the ultimate lake cruiser/party boat.

It’s powered by a 60hp Mercury, it has a bow thruster, 1000w of solar panels on the roof, Victron charge regulator/inverter, 440ah of Lithium batteries, Electric gang plank, extensive LED lighting internal and external, in built stereo system, overheard bollards, and a blank canvas up top for you to add your own touch.
