Total Konfuzion

Our family boat we have owned for 20 years. Total Konfuzion, named because the electrical system was something else, flick a light switch at the front and a bilge pump or something else would turn on.

20 years on and she’s pretty well sorted.

TK offers 4 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. 3 double beds and a bunk room.

In 2020 it was pulled out and had a stretch. Its hard deck was extended 1500mm and the side decks taken out to the full width. A composite deck was laid all round for a simple maintenance reason, the extra weight was also needed to compensate for the extra buoyancy.

The old twin motors were removed, and new engine pod made up and a V6 Mercruiser was installed with a Bravo 2 leg and electronic shift. The engine pod also had a new Onan diesel generator installed. New fuel tanks were also made and installed.

She had had a new set of batteries installed late last year, 1000ah, running an Outback inverter.

Everything mechanical and operational is sorted on this boat. The inside could do with a spruce up but we have really enjoyed the very retro feel the boat offers and rather work on the bits of the boat you can’t see.
